Simon joined Gault Mitchell Law in June 2015 as a Senior Solicitor and then progressed to an Associate of the firm.
Simon became a Partner of the firm from 1 April 2018. He is looking forward to contributing to the modern outlook of the firm and continuing to build on its strong reputation.
Prior to joining Gault Mitchell Law, Simon worked at a large provincial firm for a number of years where he assisted a broad range of clients including Councils, local businesses, farm owners and families.
Simon focuses his expertise in the areas of property law, trusts and business matters. He has considerable experience in these areas and continues to enjoy working with a broad range of clients. Clients consider Simon to be particularly approachable and effective.
Outside of work, Simon enjoys living close to the city, spending time with friends and family and travelling with his wife Nicole. Simon is a keen golfer and a member of Boulcott Farms Golf Club in Lower Hutt.
Qualifications
Simon studied at Victoria University and obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and Bachelor of Commerce and Administration (BCA).
Simon was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand in 2012.
