Joanne joined Gault Mitchell Law in March 2024 as a Law Clerk after completing her university studies. She is currently working part-time with the firm whilst undertaking her Professional Legal Studies. On completion, Joanne will be admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court and will continue full-time with the firm. Joanne has a keen interest in family, employment and property law and is enjoying gaining practical experience in these fields.
Outside of work, Joanne enjoys going to Pilates classes, reading novels and exploring new coffee spots in Wellington with her friends.
Joanne studied at Victoria University of Wellington where she obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Psychology and Criminology (BA).
