Jess joined Gault Mitchell Law in 2016 as a Solicitor and progressed through the ranks before joining the Partnership on 1 September 2022.
Jess provides legal advice in a range of different areas including relationship property, trusts, residential and commercial conveyancing, commercial matters, and wills and estates. She enjoys a good problem-solving session and is especially keen to find cost-effective solutions to problems where relationships are ongoing.
Prior to joining Gault Mitchell Law, Jess worked for the Public Trust gaining experience in the areas of wills, trusts, and estate administration. Having also worked for a Community Law Centre and a large commercial and litigation law firm in Auckland, Jess has a broad variety of skills to apply to a given situation.
Qualifications
Jess studied at Victoria University and obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and Bachelor of Arts (BA).
Being a bit of a nerd, Jess also has a Master’s degree in Law with Honours from Auckland University.
Jess was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand in 2013.
