Jess joined Gault Mitchell Law in 2016 as a Solicitor and progressed to a Senior Solicitor in June 2018. Jess was promoted to an Associate in April 2020 and to a Partner on 1 September 2022.
Prior to joining Gault Mitchell Law, Jess worked for the Public Trust gaining considerable experience in the area of trusts and estate administration. Jess now works in the areas of property law, asset protection and commercial law. Jess has a special interest in residential tenancy law.
Outside of work, Jess is keen on distance running and improving her Spanish language skills. Jess also volunteers at the Wellington Community Law Centre.
Qualifications
Jess studied at Victoria University and obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and Bachelor of Arts (BA). Jess also studied at post-graduate level at Auckland University and obtained a Master’s degree in law with honours.
Jess was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand in 2013.
